Saddle Pocket Ranch is not only a terrific place to hunt and fish in Colorado but is also a wonderful spot to attend an art workshop or retreat.
Pottery workshops are 3 days of demos, throwing, lectures, hands-on-firing for raku, saggar and pit. Glaze, slip brushwork techniques, burnishing and terra-sigillata applications will also be addressed. For painters the ranch location is ideal. There is a view in every direction screaming to be painted. All of our instructors are very talented, skilled and generously share their knowledge, plus lots of fun to be around. Beginning students or advanced are welcome. This being an all-inclusive workshop is especially nice as learning, sharing of information and quality time with other artists is definitely non-stop. Comfortable cabins, great home cookin', mountain air, tranquility and spectacular scenery are just icing on the cake!

If you have never attended a workshop this is truly a unique experience. When you arrive at Saddle Pocket Ranch you may come as a guest but you will definitely leave feeling like family and planning for your next stay.
