Louie and Betty

July 7
We fished in the afternoon. Louie caught 5 fish, 2 small ones, 1 - 14" and 1 - 18" trout on "just right". Betty caught 2 fish, grey hackle yellow-wet.

July 8
Louie 10 fish to 13". Betty 6 to 10". "Just Right", gold ribbed ear nymphs, grey hackle yellow wet fly. Few fish rising. Water clear. Cold (no thermometer). Betty got a double fishing 2 flies. In the afternoon, slow, Betty caught 2, one whitehead, one rainbow trout. Louie one 11" rainbow trout. Hook 2 heavy fish - 16"+.

July 9
Water rose 8" to 12" overnight. Slightly murky. Fished one hour in the morning - no strike. Rained all afternoon. Did not fish.

July 10
Water dropped back to normal. Clear. Caught 2 small rainbow troust in the morning. A 14" in the afternoon. Had a 14" rainbow trout as a double with a 16" native cutthroat

July 11
In the morning Betty caught 2 fish, Louie 4. Betty hooked a good fish which took a large Royal Wolf.

July 12
In the morning Betty caught 2 fish and Louie with 3. One 16" rainbow trout part of a double with another the same size that got onto a 6" cutthroat.
