Jim Hammond with Son and Brother-in-Law - 1990

September 13
Arrived about 11pm and went to bed.

September 14
Started down at the bottom and fished up to the ranch from 11am to 5pm. No specific rise of any fish at any time - we took 32 fish between us using 18-14 size Royal Wolf. Rises were fav away so mostly long casts were necessary. There were a large number of small rainbow trouts seen in the river (3" to 6") which looks good for the future. The river (60 degrees) was very low [with] no moss. Some large fish struck, but none were caught - mostly 8" to 12". Jim broke off one large fish.

September 15
Decided to try early fishing - but no fish rising. We caught six fish in 2 hours so we came back to rest up for late afternoon. We fished up from the ranch.

September 16
It was our last evening that we fished. A few of the bigger fish rising. 2 hours = six fish (10" - 14")

September 17
This morning we hit a rise. Using #16 Royal Wolf - Jim and I took 22 fish in 3 hours from Jo's Bank Hole to the big hole below the swimming hole. Good fishing but no big ones. Did see one 24"+ but no strike.
